• Payment information — UPI ID, card details or wallet details when you choose to pay online. Card numbers are tokenized by our payment partners; we never store full card numbers.
• Device & usage data — IP address, browser type, pages visited and session duration, collected automatically through cookies and similar technologies.

We use the information we collect to:

• Confirm your booking, assign a verified driver and share trip details over WhatsApp/SMS.
• Process payments, refunds and issue GST invoices where applicable.
• Provide customer support and respond to your queries or complaints.
• Send service-related communication such as booking confirmations, driver assignment and trip updates.
• Send promotional offers — only if you have opted in. You can opt out anytime.
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse or violations of our Terms of Use.
• Improve our website, mobile app and overall service quality.

We share your information only when it is necessary to provide our service:

• With the assigned driver — only your name, pickup location and contact number, so they can complete the trip.
• With payment gateway partners (Razorpay, UPI providers) to process transactions securely.
• With communication partners like WhatsApp Business and SMS gateways to deliver booking updates.
• With law enforcement or government authorities when required by Indian law or a valid court order.

We do not sell your personal information to any third party for advertising or any other purpose.

We use first-party cookies to remember your preferences (such as city, language, recent searches) and third-party analytics cookies (such as Google Analytics) to understand how visitors use our website. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but some features of the site may not work as expected without them.

We protect your data with industry-standard measures including HTTPS encryption in transit, role-based access controls and regular security reviews. Payment transactions are handled by PCI-DSS compliant gateways and we never see your full card details.

We retain your booking history and account information for as long as your account is active, and for up to 7 years after that for accounting, tax and legal compliance purposes under Indian law. You may request earlier deletion subject to these requirements.

• Correct — ask us to update inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Delete — request deletion of your account and associated data, subject to legal retention periods.
• Opt out — unsubscribe from promotional communications at any time.
• Withdraw consent — withdraw any consent you previously gave us.

TaxiSafar Fun is not directed at users under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors. If you believe a minor has created an account, please contact us and we will delete the account.
